Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 3 �?Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Hours:Term-time only, Monday-Friday, 11:15am-6:00pm Salary: £25,035 - £25,454 (FTE) - PermanentStart Date: September 2025Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years professional? We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to support Reception-aged children during the school day and lead engaging activities in our After School Club.?? What You'll Do: Support Reception class learning through small group and 1:1 activities Deliver phonics, literacy, numeracy, and creative sessions Use online journals (e.g. Tapestry) to track and support children's development Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities during After School Club hours ? What You'll Need: Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Diploma) Strong understanding of the EYFS framework Experience with phonics schemes and online learning journals GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) A passion for early childhood education and teamwork Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) �?
