Job Title: Reception Teacher Location: Luton Start Date: September 2025 Annual Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 Contract: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - Maternity Cover An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and community-focused single-form entry primary school in Luton. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where both staff and pupils thrive. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a talented educator who can inspire, motivate, and bring out the best in their pupils. This is a temporary position starting in September 2025, for the whole academic year, with interviews being arranged promptly. What you'll be doing: Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing effective feedback Collaborating with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community What we're looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong classroom management and communication skills A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning A proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach Not quite the right role?
