Fabricator Welder

We are currently looking for a Fabricator Welder to join a specialist engineering company based in Jarrow. The Fabricator Welder will receive a rate of pay of £16.54 per hour, with overtime available outside of contracted hours. The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm and Friday 7:30am - 3pm. This role is a Temporary ongoing position. Roles and Responsibilities of the Fabricator Welder: • Fabricate and assemble ducts, tubing, and components from 2mm to 8mm • MIG welding ensuring high-quality, airtight finishes • Interpret and work from engineering drawings • Operate standard fabrication machinery and hand tools • Perform forming, bending, and fitting of components where required. • Conduct quality checks • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Work both independently and as part of a small team Essential: • Proven experience in welding (specifically 2mm - 8mm thickness). • Ability to fabricate from engineering drawings with minimal supervision. • Proficient in using standard workshop fabrication tools and machinery. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
