Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher)

We are looking for a Primary Teacher in Salford for a part time position beginning in September. Position Details: Part time - Cover Teacher (KS1&2) Location: Salford/Manchester Start Date: September Days/Hours: Every Monday and Friday (2 days a week) | 8:30am – 3:30pm Key Stage: 1 or 2 Non-Negotiables: Proven ability to deliver the National Curriculum effectively across Key Stage 1 and 2 Ability to differentiate lessons to challenge and support all learners Strong behaviour management skills – a calm, consistent approach is essential Commitment to creating a safe, supportive learning environment Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Open to both Experienced Teachers and ECTs Role & Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with KS1 or KS2 curriculum Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs, including those with SEN Guide pupils through learning objectives and curriculum milestones Set and mark homework, provide feedback and support pupil progress Uphold and promote the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies Foster a classroom culture where children feel valued, inspired, and safe What’s in it for you?
