This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic environment. The Role: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher , you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 5–7 at a critical stage in their educational and emotional development. You will deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons that nurture curiosity, promote social development, and build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum . Support the individual learning needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early learning and development . Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers , ensuring effective home–school communication. Contribute to school life and extracurricular activities , supporting pupils’ social and emotional growth. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, etc.). Experience teaching within a KS1 primary classroom setting (1 year preferred). Strong knowledge of the Early Years and Key Stage 1 curriculum . Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their development Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) .
