IT Teacher

We are currently working closely with a fantastic secondary school in the Cardiff area, looking for an IT teacher to work on a part time basis in the 2025/26 academic year. We are looking for someone with prior experience teaching IT at KS3 and KS4 levels. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect for all individuals. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the educational experience for students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles. Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching are crucial attributes for success in this role.
