Site Manager

Site Manager – Structural Refurbishment / Cut & Carve Ridgeway & Co are working with an established main contractor delivering complex cut and carve refurbishment projects in London, as they look to recruit a capable and proactive Site Manager to oversee upcoming schemes involving structural alterations, façade retention, and internal reconfigurations. These projects typically require a hands-on and technically confident manager, with a deep understanding of live environment constraints, temporary works, and logistically challenging sites. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination * Oversee health & safety, quality, and compliance procedures * Coordinate sequencing of structural works and internal packages * Liaise with project and design teams to ensure smooth workflow * Monitor site progress against programme and provide updates to the PM * Manage site logistics including deliveries, access, and temporary works Requirements: * Proven experience delivering structural refurbishment or cut and carve projects * Sound understanding of temporary works, structural sequencing, and safety protocols * SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred) * Ability to manage subcontractors effectively and maintain site discipline * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills * Central London project experience preferred
