Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Gloucester & Surrounding Areas Salary: £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) Travel Pay (after 30 minutes each way) Benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Overtime Opportunities, About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team, servicing a diverse portfolio of domestic and commercial sites across Gloucester and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in electrical maintenance and installation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on domestic and commercial electrical systems. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults across a range of property types and installations. * Conduct routine inspections, testing and PAT as required. * Work independently to manage and complete a schedule of jobs across the region. * Ensure compliance with current electrical standards and health & safety regulations. * Provide clear documentation and job reports through our digital job management system. * Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other contractors. Requirements: * City & Guilds 2360/2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671). * Full UK Driving Licence. * Proven experience in both domestic and commercial electrical maintenance. * ECS/CSCS Card (preferred). * Testing & Inspection certification (2391 or equivalent) desirable but not essential. * Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
