The culture of this consultancy is both supportive and collaborative, bringing together the very best elements of working for an established company, such as interesting projects of all scales yet maintaining a close-knit team Responsibilities * Working as part of a design team delivering detailed design * Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams * Attending a range of project group and technical meetings * Ensuring that the design of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements * Aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint * Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems. * Using specialist software such as relux / dialux and other resources to design the systems required for the project * Carrying out condition surveys and providing recommendation reports to clients * To take opportunities as they arise for continued learning and development of your skills Experience Required * An Electrical or Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) * Post degree experience in electrical building services design with experience in running projects including calculations, drawings and specifications, etc * Experience of industry standard software
