We currently have an immediate need for an Inventory Control Analyst. About the Role: The Inventory Control Analyst will join our Supply Chain Management team. This critical role will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory across our International 3PL warehouses with the focus on the EMEA region. Strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of inventory management principles, and proven experience with Oracle inventory transactions are required. This position will collaborate closely with our 3PL partners, internal departments (including Procurement, Order Fulfilment, Logistics, and Finance), and contribute to optimizing our inventory control processes. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze inventory levels across multiple 3PL warehouses globally. Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies between warehouse records and Oracle inventory data. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all inventory-related transactions in Oracle. Serve as a primary point of contact for inventory-related inquiries from 3PL partners and internal teams. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with 3PL warehouse personnel. Monitor 3PL inventory management practices and adherence to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with Logistics to optimize inventory placement and flow within the 3PL network. Participate in the onboarding and training of 3PL partners on inventory control processes and Oracle system requirements. Perform daily Oracle inventory transactions, including issues, transfers, adjustments, and disposals. Utilize Oracle reports and queries to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and proactively address potential issues. Troubleshoot Oracle inventory-related errors and work with IT or relevant teams for resolution. Contribute to the development and improvement of Oracle inventory management processes and documentation. Generate regular and ad-hoc inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics such as inventory accuracy, aging, and slow-moving stock. Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and improved efficiency. Develop and present recommendations for inventory control improvements based on data analysis. Identify and recommend improvements to inventory control processes and procedures. Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. Document and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements related to inventory management. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Qualifications & Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or a related supply chain function. Proven experience working with Oracle inventory management modules and executing inventory-related transactions is essential. Experience managing inventory within a 3PL warehousing environment. Experience with international shipping and customs regulations - preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) - preferred Experience with ERP systems beyond Oracle is a plus. Understanding of inventory management best practices and principles (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, ABC analysis). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) are a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
