Logistics Manager

Title: Logistics Site Manager Travel: Once a month travel if local. If not local, 1-2 times a month. Location: Roermond, Netherlands Position Type: Contract Position Summary: The position leads operational logistics and transportation activities for a global retail company's European 3PL omni-channel distribution site. The role will act as a liaison between the organization and the 3PL, ensuring the operation executes upon aligned goals with a focus on e-commerce. Partners with internal and 3PL resources on day-to-day site performance Utilize business projections and collaborate with 3PL to ensure proper planning and execution of logistics activities Qualifications: 7 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience required; EU customs and regulatory experience preferred Strong leadership and management skills with the proven ability in problem-solving, relationship building, influencing, planning/organization skills, and decision-making Ability to communicate and articulate professionally in English, in both speech and writing Ability to communicate professionally in Dutch highly preferred Some travel to Netherlands/US may be required
