ABOUT THE ROLE: The Senior Tax Analyst will join a strong corporate tax group that is an integral part of the tax team at SHEIN. The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in helping the team with day-to-day tax operations functions such as direct and indirect tax compliance and other projects, as required, to support business partners and department needs. This position will also interact with key finance, accounting, and other business partners across SHEIN. We are seeking a self-motivated quick learner and results-oriented team player with strong organization. This person will report to the Brazil Tax Manager. Responsibilities: Own all Indirect Taxes and Withholding Taxes compliance for the group's Brazilian entities, with supplementary support for Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing (TP) matters Ensure the compliance of local tax requirements. This includes review or prepare tax returns, where appropriate Document, implement, optimize and improve the processes/procedures for tax digitalization and automation Work with other stakeholders including Accounting to prepare calculation records and ensure accuracy of returns Update and control dashboards monthly Help attending authorities and government agencies on assessments, audits and any relevant issues Assist with research and implementation of various tax strategies, internal controls and processes. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensure that tax needs are identified, considered and communicated Be able to work and communicate with both internal and external contacts Ad-hoc projects as assigned Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a preference in finance, accounting, tax or any related business is required A minimum of 5 years of experience with tax matters Strong financial analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks) and accounting is required Advanced Excel skills and ability to utilize other technology resources is required Excellent business partnering, communication skills and collaboration skills across departments Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Advanced written and spoken English is mandatory At SHEIN, we believe that diversity is the force that drives innovation.
