FINANCE DIRECTOR, SOUTHEAST ASIA & OCEANIA Join to apply for the FINANCE DIRECTOR, SOUTHEAST ASIA & OCEANIA role at Richemont CONTEXT As a key member of the Southeast Asia & Oceania EXCO team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, SEAO, and functionally to the APAC CFO, this role has the overall responsibility to lead the SEAO Finance function, drive strategic business and organizational decisions, and manage all aspects of finance operations, compliance, taxes, treasury, and key projects and initiatives. The right candidate with a forward-looking vision and strong people management skills will define and drive the function's priorities, hire and develop a high-performance team to enable finance transformation, and partner effectively with stakeholders across markets, APAC, and Group in a highly matrixed organization. This role aims to create a strong business impact in a dynamic luxury marketplace while ensuring financial compliance and control. The SEAO region includes 6 entities (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand) and 5 export markets. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? You will have key responsibilities in the following strategic areas: BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP Act as a strategic business partner to the SEAO CEO and management of Maisons to drive business development and sustainable growth, achieving long-term financial objectives. Ensure consistent business follow-up for Maisons and Richemont functions, analyze financial performance, and develop short- and medium-term business plans to safeguard profitability. Define finance priorities for SEAO, manage departmental resources, drive process transformation, and contribute to the success of the organization. FINANCE OPERATIONS Oversee financial and accounting operations across the region, ensuring compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements while driving synergies across markets. Build and lead a high-performance team to manage finance operations effectively, maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders. Manage finance business development, including migration and integration of new businesses and markets. INTERNAL CONTROL AND COMPLIANCE Develop and maintain a robust internal control environment and risk mitigation framework, ensuring high compliance standards. Manage relationships with auditors and work with the APAC ICS team to ensure consistency across markets. Participate in the local Compliance Committee to strengthen governance and safeguard assets and reputation. ORGANIZATION BUILDER Lead end-to-end finance functions across FP&A, accounting, operations, and ICS, ensuring proper organization design. Create an inspiring, multicultural team environment aligned with APAC and Group finance vision. Hire, develop, and coach future finance leaders, building a strong talent pipeline. HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? Minimum 15 years in finance, with over 5 years in senior management roles within complex MNC environments. Strong business acumen, understanding of luxury markets, and future trends in APAC/SEAO. Exceptional communication skills with a proven record of partnering with C-suite stakeholders. Experience leading and transforming sizable, multicultural teams in matrix organizations. Leadership in organization design, team building, and coaching. Agility in learning, self-awareness, and adaptability in fast-changing environments. Fluent in English; French language skills are an advantage. WHAT MAKES OUR GROUP DIFFERENT?
