Field Service Engineer for family-oriented OEM - Industrial Machinery

Job Description Job Description Field Service Engineer for family-oriented OEM – Industrial Machinery – Direct Hire $39-42ph, paid travel, full benefits. Our client is a highly innovative OEM that continues to grow quickly. As a Field Service Engineer you will be the main point person for the installation and commissioning of their cutting edge technology, acting as the face of the company to bring their family-oriented culture to their clients. In this role you will be more than just a technical operator, you will be someone who is helping to grow a worthy business, and who is investing in your and their future. This is a full-time direct-hire position in Madison Wisconsin. It will require up to 75% travel. What you will do · Install and commission their cutting edge products using your superb knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, and other control technologies. · Be the point-person for the customer, configuring the systems to their specifications so that they have a good experience. · Provide technical sales support to assist the Sales Representatives with technical presentations and preparation of project specifications. · Have a voice in the company by working directly with upper management to develop new product platforms. · Work in the shop assisting engineering when not on the customer site · Work with manufacturers to identify the best product solutions to maintain production schedule. · Maintain engineering drawings and schematics for standard production builds.
