Weekend Supervisor

Venatu are recruiting for a Weekend Production Supervisor for a busy manufacturing company in Featherstone. About The Role: You will supervise a small team of 8-10 and will be expected to also carry out manufacturing duties This is a temporary to permanent position. Wo rking Friday to Sunday 6am to 6pm. Pay Rates are £16.00 and increases to £17.30 after 12 weeks. Overtime is paid at 1.5x over 34.5 hours per week. Roles and Responsibilities: • Manage a small team and have responsibility for opening and locking up the site over the weekend. • Be expected to demonstrate an excellent quality in your work • Work in a busy industrial production environment you will be working on CNC and Beam Saw Machines which involves producing high quality finished products • Obtain Delivery Notes & Loading Plans along with loading finished products using delivery notes to cross reference. • This is a physical role that requires reliability and the ability to work as part of a team About you: • FLT Counterbalance Licence Accredited • First Aid & Fire Marshall Trained • Supervisory Experience • Experience from a similar environment in manufacturing of wood products • Experience running machines such as CNC & Beam Saws etc • With good communication skills, you will be a team player with a flexible attitude to work. • You must have excellent attention to detail, be enthusiastic with a thirst to learn, develop and progress. • Machine Based Experience • Be comfortable with Manual Handling tasks This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive team Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm Pay: £16.00-£17.30 per hour
