CNC Setter Operator

Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to fabricate precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling, as well as the ability to assemble and weld parts as needed. The CNC Operator will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand project requirements. Set up tooling and fixtures for various machining operations. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Fabricate components using hand tools and welding techniques as necessary. Assemble parts and perform quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes, employing logic controllers where applicable. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with CAD software for programming CNC machines is essential. Experience in fabricating, assembling, and welding components is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding tooling requirements is necessary. Strong knowledge of materials handling practices within a warehouse setting is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
