What the Job Involves This is an exciting opportunity in the Safeguarding Quality Assurance Team, for a full-time temporary position (approximately 4 months). As an Independent Child Protection Chair and Local Authority Designated Officer, you will join an experienced and supportive team. The role involves chairing initial and review conferences, ensuring effective information sharing and smart plans to manage risks, and create positive outcomes for children, young people, and families. Additionally, you will act as LADO on a duty system, making decisions on initial referrals, and chairing and reviewing case work. Your work will focus on supporting social care teams and partners, challenging them constructively when needed, with a focus on strong quality assurance.
