Warehouse Coordinator

Primary Purpose The Warehouse coordinator will support the operations & field service teams in warehouse related tasks. Will require an organized person who can think ahead, be versatile & able to maintain their work area to a high standard. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Receiving Goods Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently. Inspect and verify delivered items against purchase orders or invoices. Report damaged or missing goods to supervisors. 2. Storing Inventory Sort and organize products in the correct storage areas. Label and tag inventory for accurate identification. Maintain an orderly and clean storage area. 3. Picking and Packing Orders Accurately pick items from stock according to orders. Pack items securely and label packages for shipping. Ensure quality control by checking products before dispatch. 4. Shipping and Dispatch Prepare goods for shipment. Load trucks or containers with outgoing deliveries. Complete shipping documentation as required. 5. Inventory Control Perform regular stock checks or cycle counts. Report discrepancies to the warehouse coordinator or supervisor. Assist with stock rotation (e.g., FIFO, LIFO methods). 6. Use of Equipment Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks). Conduct basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Follow safety protocols and report malfunctions. 7. Housekeeping and Safety Keep work areas clean and hazard-free. Comply with health and safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. 8. Team Collaboration Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors. Attend briefings or training sessions. Report issues or suggestions for improvement. Skills/Qualifications: High school graduation (afgestudeerde voortgezet onderwijs) or equivalent Attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Computer Knowledge in order to track and manage spare parts stock Teamwork and communication English language Forklift license (or willing to attend a course to achieve one)
