Delivery & Installation Manager

As we expand our footprint in the Netherlands and across Europe, we are looking for a talented and driven Delivery & Installation Manager to lead our bulky item operations. As the Delivery & Installation Manager , you will oversee the daily operations of delivering and installing large and bulky e-commerce products—such as furniture and appliances—direct to customers’ homes. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient last-mile operations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, team management, and operational excellence. Based mainly near Gouda, NL. Key Responsibilities Deliver and Install: Provide top quality delivery and installation services for our e-commerce customers Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure timely and damage-free deliveries and professional installation of bulky goods. Route Optimization: Coordinate with dispatchers to design efficient delivery routes across the region. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor service quality, resolve escalations, and ensure high standards of customer experience. Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety standards, proper handling procedures, and compliance with local regulations. Inventory & Equipment: Ensure vehicles, tools, and installation equipment are maintained and ready for daily operations. Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, first-time installation success, and NPS. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline delivery workflows. Qualifications Proven experience in last-mile delivery or logistics management, preferably involving bulky or white-glove items Familiarity with installation of furniture or large appliances is a plus Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus Proficient with logistics systems and delivery management tools Valid EU driver’s license is a must; forklift certification is a plus Why Join JD Logistics?
