Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Project Analyst in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Key responsibilities: Responsible for overseas communications, including anticipation of needs in overnight correspondence. Coordinates between warehouses, truckers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and shipment implementation. Arranges trucking and intermodal movements and executes bookings. Completes cargo assessments to determine the best possible method and route for cargo movement. Acts as a single point of contact for specific projects. Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Familiar with shipping cargo categorized as Dangerous Goods, LCL, and FCL. Prepares all required paperwork accurately and efficiently for delay-free forwarding. Manages suppliers, sub-contractors, and third-party cargo handlers. Provides responsive and comprehensive customer service via phone and email. Informs customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and additional information needed. Prepares shipping documents such as export Bill of Lading (MBL, HBL), commercial invoices, and certificates of origin. Handles final billing to customers, with familiarity in basic tax invoicing considerations. Develops and maintains strong long-term relationships with customers and vendors. Ensures reliability, professionalism, and teamwork in all activities. Maintains current knowledge of seasonal, political, or other factors that could cause delays. Records or files copies of received orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and expertise: Successfully completed training in freight forwarding, with relevant work experience. Proven success in logistics operations, coordination, and management. Knowledge of ocean export consolidations involving multiple shippers and pickup locations. Familiar with transporting OOG (out of gauge) cargo both over the road and via ocean, and with INCOTERMS 2020. Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel. DG certification for ocean freight is a plus. Good organizational skills, customer-focused, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural). Fluent in English, both written and verbal. What makes us the ideal choice?
