National Corporate Account Manager

Job Description

As a member of RS Corporate Account team, the Corporate Account Manager assumes direct responsibility for the corporate accounts in the assigned portfolio and collaborates closely with local stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation across sites. This role involves managing both a national portfolio and supporting local teams through a top-down and bottom-up approach. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of national Corporate Customers with a solutions-growth mindset. Develop tailored sales strategies for each customer to optimize sales and profitability. Lead and coordinate actions with internal sales, field sales, corporate organizations, and support functions. Forecast and manage the budget, including sales, margins, and ROI of contracts. Conduct market analysis, monitor competition, and identify industry trends. Project manage and facilitate the deployment of contracts across markets and sites. Coordinate support from functions such as supply chain, logistics, digital, finance, technical, and marketing. Ensure compliance programs are consistent across all sites. Identify service development opportunities to enhance RS offerings and expand customer penetration. Serve as the single point of contact for national opportunities within the assigned industry or area. Negotiate contracts, including commercial and legal terms, for mutual benefit. Update customer organization charts to identify key decision makers and develop contracts. Assess customer potential and identify opportunities to expand share of wallet. Implement EMEA contracts according to central strategies. Prospect for and acquire new opportunities. Identify and implement value-added solutions with technical support. Monitor opportunities and manage customer information via CRM. Broaden the network of contacts within target customer personas. Validate customer spend potential and identify gaps between potential and current revenue. Discover procurement, inventory, and maintenance challenges and processes. Develop specific account plans with clear short, medium, and long-term goals to increase customer share of wallet. Collaborate with marketing to identify actions that accelerate customer growth. Monitor and identify new tenders within existing customers for additional business opportunities. Leverage extensive experience in account management within a global, blue-chip environment. Possess experience in complex distribution or solutions provision, including MRO procurement, eProcurement, or inventory solutions. Have knowledge of specific sectors such as manufacturing, food & beverage, government, aerospace, defense, transport, utilities, and facilities management.
