Class 1 Driver

TLP Recruitment is currently searching for dedicated HGV 1 drivers to join our growing team based at the London Gateway Port in Stanford-Le-Hope. This will be part of an ongoing contract with a leading company based at the port, with both shunting and tug work available. Our client is searching for both temporary and temp to perm drivers to cover a variety of shift patterns, including weekends and nights on an ongoing basis to help with their growing demand. A full HGV 1 license entitlement, CPC and Tacograph will be required for this role. Pay rates: Day shifts - £15.46 ph Night shifts - £17.05 ph ADR Bonus - £20 per shift Shift times: days- 0500-1600 nights- 1800-0500 This role will be a mixture of container work on the port trunking work, there will be no multidrop work involved in this position, however, shunting may sometimes be needed. We are unable to take newly qualified drivers, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a driving role will be necessary to progress with your application.
