Frequent work : available Monday to Friday, with regular start times between 06:00AM and 08:00AM and 18:00PM and 20:00PM Light workload : 1-2 drops on Class 1 vehicles - No handball Competitive pay : £17.00 Days/£18 nights holiday entitlement. Your role as an hgv class 1 driver Efficient & safe deliveries : ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Communication : keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations. Requirements of Class 1 driver in Skelmersdale A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver. Full in-date CPC , tachograph card, and driving licence. Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 12 months . Good attention to detail . A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations. Happy for long hours. Pay & benefits £17 days/ £18 nights holiday entitlement. Ongoing role : secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period. Free parking at the depot. 10 - 12 hour shifts typically. 5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work.
