PKI Project Manager – Leading UK Retailer Location: Remote - Netherlands Contract: 6 Months Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35) Chapman Tate Associates is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading retailer as they embark on a key cybersecurity initiative. We are currently seeking an experienced PKI Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of end-to-end Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate lifecycle management projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a contract project leader with deep technical expertise in PKI and security certificate infrastructure to deliver mission-critical initiatives in a high-impact retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise-level PKI and certificate lifecycle management projects from initiation through to delivery. Oversee the implementation of certificate management tools and solutions. Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements. Develop and manage detailed project roadmaps, delivery timelines, and milestone tracking. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate certificate management into existing infrastructure and processes. Act as a key liaison in managing RFP processes, vendor engagement, and deliverables. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Report on project progress to internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and accountability. Essential Experience & Skills: Proven experience managing PKI and certificate lifecycle management projects. Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, cryptographic certificates, and digital identity management. Hands-on experience with certificate lifecycle management tools (e.g., Venafi, DigiCert, Keyfactor). Ability to lead cybersecurity initiatives and drive project execution across technical and business teams. Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and secure integration practices. Strong project governance and stakeholder management capabilities. Desirable Experience: Exposure to cryptographic key management and protocols (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA-2, etc.). Ability to act as a bridge between technical IT teams, IAM, and business stakeholders. Strong communication skills – able to translate complex technical topics into clear business language.
