What you’ll do on a typical day: Lead the shift start with clear direction to team leaders, and ensure an effective handover at shift end Oversee department productivity and manage capacity alongside team leads and coordinators Coach and support team leaders in building strong, high-performing teams Collaborate with HR on absence monitoring, leave requests, and timesheet approvals Evaluate team performance and ensure consistent delivery of quality standards Analyze KPIs, identify process bottlenecks, and propose/implement improvements Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/Kaizen) and drive adoption across teams What you need to succeed: MBO/HBO degree, preferably in logistics or a related field Solid experience managing teams in a logistics or warehouse environment Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus, not a must) Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire large teams Comfortable with absence management and operational planning Open-minded, proactive, and solution-driven with a collaborative mindset What we offer: Competitive salary and year-end bonus (based on individual goals) Company laptop and smartphone Opportunities for personal growth and career development An open, informal, and entrepreneurial working culture A supportive environment where your input matters Unlock your future with GXO Logistics GXO is a global leader in supply chain solutions, serving some of the world’s most successful brands.
