Then read on to find out more! The position As a Senior Data Platform Engineer / Solution Architect at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare. Key Responsibilities You lead both architecture and engineering topics to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-proof solutions. Design, improve and expand a modern Azure-based Data Lakehouse platform Develop robust data solutions using Databricks, Spark, SQL, Go, and Python Implement containerized, microservices-based workflows with Kubernetes Drive CI/CD practices and observability using tools like Terraform, GitOps, Marquez, Grafana, and Prometheus Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, Analysts, and external partners Translate business needs into scalable architecture Act as a mentor and technical sparring partner within the team What you bring to the position 7 years of experience designing and building data platforms Proven expertise with Azure , Databricks , and Spark Experience with Go , SQL , and optionally Python Strong knowledge of Kubernetes , microservices, and IaC (Terraform) Comfortable working with batch and streaming data solutions Experience with GitOps, Argo Workflows, monitoring & observability Fluent in Dutch (required) What we offer Competitive Salary & Benefits: Including a laptop, mobile phone, full travel allowance and pension plan.
