The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading quality systems, driving operational improvements, and managing certification programs within a well-established and growing manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this on-site role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional eager to make an immediate, hands-on impact. What you’ll be doing: Develop, maintain, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and issue resolution processes. Manage non-conformance reporting and lead corrective action review meetings to address operational issues and improve quality outcomes. Oversee quality certification programs, including Keystone, ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to identify and implement tooling and operational improvements. Utilize AutoCAD to support drafting needs, layouts, and production process documentation. Provide leadership and mentorship and contribute to the development of the engineering team. Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, process efficiency, and overall plant operations. What we are looking for: 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, quality management, or operations within a manufacturing environment. Post-secondary education in Engineering (P.Eng, P.Tech, or a related discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Strong background in quality systems management, non-conformance reporting, and SOP development. A proactive, hands-on problem-solver with excellent organizational and project management skills. Comfortable working on-site in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. Industrial mechanic experience or technical troubleshooting skills would be considered a valuable asset.
