Conduct root cause analysis of boiler-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems. Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to maximize boiler reliability and availability. Assist in the design and implementation of upgrades to improve boiler system performance and efficiency. Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on boiler operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Power Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in boiler technology are a plus. Experience in boiler systems within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support, maintenance, and working with manufacturers (development, engineering, testing). In-depth knowledge of boiler design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and industry standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to boiler systems, intermediate English and basic Spanish. Willingness to travel 50%-60% to plant locations in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM for plant support and training, with strong communication and teamwork skills. About The Team Join a regional team providing services and support for SE customers in LATM, utilizing both traditional and new technologies to optimize processes in generation power plants. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of thermal power plants, allowing you to develop as a technical expert while offering local and remote support to both internal and external customers.
