Junior Engineer

Position: Junior Engineer Location: Philippi, Western Cape Direct Report: Production Manager Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field 25 years engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment Strong understanding of technical drawings, fault-finding, and equipment testing Knowledge of health and safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Proficient in relevant software and administrative processes Effective problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work under pressure with a high level of attention to detail Passion for sustainable packaging solutions and environmental awareness Key Responsibilities: Provide technical process support for start-ups and ongoing production Analyse production data to identify issues and implement improvements Support machine reliability and quality control efforts Manage technical equipment and inventory Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards (FSSC) Train operational staff on equipment use and best practices Participate in the implementation of new systems and engineering tools Maintain documentation of processes and changes Promote continuous improvement and support a safe working environment How to Apply:
