Objective: Manages and coordinates all technical and engineering activities supporting GD business across vehicles, parts, and digital services. Ensures a competitive market offer in collaboration with the Market Manager. Acts as the key technical interface between Market Managers and strategic/operational GD hub functions. Day to day (main tasks): Product Management: Provides GDs with product information across the vehicle lifecycle and supports new launches. Manages local product portfolio, homologation, and certification. Leads product change requests and ensures implementation via HQ. Coordinates market launches, including readiness and price positioning. Offers technical consultation on service products like Extended Warranty. Technical Customer Service Assistance: Provides 2nd-level technical support to GDs, focusing on VOR resolution and TIPS escalations. Oversees warranty/goodwill processes and mediates complex cases. Manages recall completion and reporting. Prepares technical reports and supports field evaluations. Assists in workshop readiness, tools management, diagnostics, and technical training. Supports service measures during new vehicle launches. Sales Engineering: Provides pre- and after-sales technical support for key accounts and fleet customers, including warranty clarification and fleet maintenance guidance. Supports tenders, fleet visits, and promotes MB services and parts. Manages Bodybuilder support, including technical assistance, events, and compliance with BB guidelines. Drives the VanPartner process and supports technical and warranty meetings in the region. Profile: Education: University degree with thecnical focus/engineering/sales enginering or comparable and/or long term respective specific experience in the automotive sector. Previous experience: Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, focused on product management and customer service for commercial vehicles, with strong knowledge of warranty processes and technical support Languages : Advanced English. · Location: CDMX (Santa Fe) · Local contract applies. · Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
