Machine Operator

Job Position: Machine Operator Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55428 Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.50/hr Shift: Weekend Shift, 5AM Start Description: About the Opportunity: • Job Title: Machine Operator • Pay Rate Range: $23.00 to $25.50/hr • Location: Brooklyn Park • Schedule: Weekend Shift Friday- Sunday, 5AM-5:30PM (Training: 5AM-2:30PM M-TH and 5AM-9AM) • Position Type: Temporary to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: • Capable of reading blueprints. • Strong math skills. • Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. • Minimum of 1 year turret experience, including set up. • Must be able to lift to 75 pounds occasionally during the shift. • Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls and reaches with hands and arms. Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift. • Very keen vision and hearing is required. • Ability to read a tape measure. • Must have good physical strength and stamina, good hand-eye coordination and good dexterity in hand manipulation and muscle coordination Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate Turret Machine • Maintain the Turret Machine for safety and maximum productivity • Supply production with parts to ensure continuous work flow • Cross train on various machines to fill in when needed • Performs frequent quality checks • Maintain working knowledge of all programs and tooling • Ability to work and communicate well with others • Keep work area clean and organized • Work within all safety guidelines • Change tooling • Cross training on various positions to ensure maximum output • Miscellaneous work duties and projects as directed Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
