Location: Los Angeles, CAJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $45 - 55 per hourWe are seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to help create creative narrative for Fashion. In this hands-on role, you'll set the strategic direction and execute copywriting across all fashion experiences. From shaping multichannel campaigns and engaging social content to crafting site assets, emails, and in-store messaging, you'll ensure a cohesive and elevated brand voice. Our client is looking for a strategically minded conceptual thinker with outstanding creative judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting. Responsibilities:Compose inspiring copy that gets to the heart of who our customers are & inspire them. You'll cover a range of topics, assets, & channel types.Gain a deep understanding of our brand's core principles, tone & voice, plus copy & campaign style guides, applying that understanding to crafting copy that supports business goals.Independently manage multiple copy projects on different timelines with varying levels of complexity & importance to the business.Meet copy deadlines in coordination with project management, account management & creative team.Independently collaborate with Design & other team members to come up with creative solutions to meet business goals.Use critical thinking skills to translate strategic marketing initiatives into informative, concise & compelling copy solutions.Make edits following feedback from partners including marketers, site managers, editors, legal & copy leadership.Adhere & contribute to the evolution of the brand tone of voice & copy style guide.Attend & engage in project kick-off & follow-up meetings by asking proactive questions, seeking clarity, pushing on the brief & anticipating required information to compose effective copy. Confidently explain creative choices & work with partners to reach consensus on feedback.Take character limitations & design constraints into account when creating copy & partner with editors to resolve writing or grammar issues.Ensure copy is error-free, participate in the quality assurance (QA) phases of projects to help ensure all final copy has been correctly implemented online & conduct audits to identify & document errors.Stay up to date on competitors, technology developments, plus industry & media trends as it pertains to retail & marketing. Contribute your knowledge to the team through meeting presentations or other channels.Maintain a positive, can-do attitude. Seek answers to ambiguous asks, be comfortable working autonomously & quickly pivot direction based on changing business needs. Qualifications:BA in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field & 5 years copywriting experience.Ability to work autonomously & self-manage, as well as collaborate closely.Excellent proofreading skills & attention to detail.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate external partners and connect across WCS.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment leading copy work.
