SUMMER STUDENT J.C. CHARYK HANNA SCHOOL Competition PLSD-2129 In accordance with the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement, t his job posting is internal to CUPE employees for 5 days until 4:30 p.m. J uly 9 th , 202 5 . We are seeking a motivated and mature summer student to assist our custodial team with cleaning and general maintenance duties throughout the school. This is a summer student position to commence immediately until August 22nd, 2025. You will be expected to work independently, assisting with a variety of heavy summer cleaning tasks, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, and buffing floors in hallways and classrooms, as well as moving furniture and equipment to support summer maintenance projects. You must follow all health and safety procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment correctly. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work in various conditions. We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and self-motivated individual. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in post-secondary education.
