CCTV Technician

Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced organization operating in the high-volume Security sector and based in Pietermaritzburg, is seeking a highly skilled CCTV Technician to join their team. Technical Support: - Providing technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site, to resolve system issues and train users on system operation. Site Surveys: - Conducting site surveys to assess security needs and recommend appropriate CCTV system solutions. Compliance: - Ensuring that installations comply with safety standards and relevant regulations. Documentation: - Maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Skills: Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, networking, and cabling. Troubleshooting Skills Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV systems. Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities in CCTV systems. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members. Keen eye for detail when it comes to wiring, cabling, and system configuration. Knowledge of Security Systems: Understanding of security principles and best practices. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces. Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and technical support. Requirements - Matric - Driver’s License - IT knowledge
