Financial Accountant Job Details | RS Group

Financial Accountant You will support general accounting operations, month-end closings, and statutory compliance, focusing on VAT, taxes, and local reporting requirements. The role also includes collaboration with our Shared Service Center and support in audits and travel expense management. Key Responsibilities Manage general accounting activities and perform B/S reconciliations. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities following Group procedures, including accruals and payroll accounting entries. Assist in preparing the Annual Financial Statement in compliance with local regulations, including corporate income tax calculations and adjusting entries. Ensure compliance with Italian VAT/TAXES and other requirements: Good knowledge of VAT law and its regulations, including monthly VAT calculation and filling tax payment form F24. Handle withholding taxes. Maintain VAT Register, Journal Entry Register, Inventory, and Fixed Asset register accurately. Support review of annual/quarterly VAT returns, Mod.770. Support shared services as a key contact for: General ledger specific accounting needs. Accounts payable, enhancing accounting and control. Vendor and e-invoicing reconciliation and archiving. Assist in external & internal audits. Manage employees' travel expenses. Handle submissions to SDI (Authority Exchange System) for cross-border transactions. Perform accounting activities related to imports. Essential Skills & Experience Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and IFRS). Proficiency in SAP ERP system. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Proactive mindset and analytical approach to solving financial challenges. Fluent in English. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a structured multinational company.
