DevSecOps Team Leader - Remote within Quebec

Position: DevSecOps Team LeadLocation: Remote within QuebecJob Type: PermanentWe are looking for a skilled and experienced DevSecOps Team Lead to join a dynamic and innovative team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning, team management, security operations, infrastructure control, and automation. You will be responsible for leading secure development operations across the organization.French is mandatory for this role.Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows- Manage and maintain all physical, virtual, and cloud-based server infrastructure- Oversee software license inventory and ensure compliance and cost-efficiency- Own the selection, deployment, and control of security tools including antivirus, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions- Plan, track, and optimize the DevSecOps budget including tools, infrastructure, and security spending- Conduct monthly security audits and drive remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations- Develop and test Disaster Recovery Plans and ensure business continuity- Optimize system performance and reliability through monitoring, automation, and configuration management- Lead and mentor the DevSecOps team while aligning operational strategies with business goals- Manage incident response including containment, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviewsQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field- 5 or more years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, or security engineering- Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments- Strong understanding of Linux systems, network security, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm- Working knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or GDPRPreferred Certifications:- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Google Cloud DevOps Engineer- CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security Plus- Terraform Associate, Certified Kubernetes AdministratorOther Language Requirement: English- Level of Proficiency Required: Intermediate- Reasons for Language Requirement: Communication with clients, collaborate with US team- Frequency of Use: Regularly (a few times a week)This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership role while staying hands-on with technical execution.
