Part time Custodian

PART TI ME CUSTODIAN MORRIN SCHOOL Competition PLSD-2111 This pos ting is currently available internally to CUPE e mployees fo r 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. June 2 nd , 2025 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. We are searching for a hard working, responsible custodian for a part time position at the Morrin Hub (ie. Morrin School premises). Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility in strict compliance with Alberta Health Services guidelines. During the summer months, you will also be expected to support and assist the school custodian as needed. You must be able to perform routine physical tasks while standing and walking for long periods. Physical strength and stamina are an asset. Preference will be given to an applicant with knowledge of standard cleaning practices and procedures. This is a part time position (0.25 FTE) working 10 hours per week. Work hours are flexible and can be adjusted based on the applicant's availability. Responsibilities will commence the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. Training will be provided in the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
