Yard & Shop Worker

The Opportunity Responsible for providing support to the service department as well as to branch operations including, but not limited to, building maintenance, both inside and outside of the building The Role work safely with heavy components Operate our digitally controlled hone (basic math is a requirement) (Measuring). Hot / tank all components crack check components (none destructive testing) Responsible to clean and wash all components (Hot tank and Steam clean) able to organize and prioritize jobs Wash and clean all components as they come out of the hot tank. Bin locate all components after clean must be able to multi task and change roles on the fly able to work closely with others on the team and with contractors (NDT) Help in general shop clean up when time permits Operates all company equipment with due care and diligence Supports other business activities as required Understands and adheres to all organizational health and safety policies and procedures and ensures the safety of self and others. Valid forklift operator ticket or able to obtain it (Will train) Effective communication skills Yard organization & clean up Daily yard checks of equipment (Security) operate cylinder rod polisher (pre inspection and QC inspection) Inventory checks Shop clean up; sweeping, garbage, organization Responsible for scrap metal, wood bins, garbage, snow removal and front yard maintenance The Candidate Education : High School; Forklift Certification an asset. Must be 18 years old.
