As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team, you will act as the bridge between Global Procurement and site leadership. You will be responsible for the site’s procurement operations, including vendor management for services and goods, purchase order management, and inventory control. Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Operations • Serve as the procurement subject matter expert on site, providing strategic guidance and driving operational excellence • Lead network-wide vendor negotiations and manage vendor relationships • Drive cost optimization and develop innovative procurement solutions • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including purchase order management and supplier payment processes • Control inventory and forecast packaging materials requirements Team & Vendor Management • Lead and develop the non-inventory procurement team • Manage facilities services contracts (janitorial, utilities, etc.) • Ensure vendor SLA compliance through KPI monitoring • Champion safety and procurement best practices Compliance & Risk Management • Maintain compliance with procurement policies • Implement risk management strategies • Ensure adherence to corporate governance • Foster cross-functional partnerships A day in the life Work is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building. Due to the interaction with Global Teams, English is a mandatory Basic Qualification. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management - Bachelor's degree - Experience in procurement - Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Excel (including macros, charts, and pivot tables) or Tableau - Proven experience in employee and performance management - Background in supply chain operations and processes - Advanced proficiency in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software - Experience in procurement for facilities management and maintenance services Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
