Job Title: Trainer - Logistics & Supply Chain Job Type: Full-time Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Trainer to develop and deliver training programs that enhance the effectiveness of our global logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in international trade regulations, supply chain management, and logistics best practices to ensure our teams operate effectively in a fast-paced global environment. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for creating content and conducting training sessions. The role requires ownership of training activities with a focus on continuous improvement and value addition. Training & Development Responsibilities: Design and implement training programs for logistics personnel across multiple regions. Conduct new hire training as per the training agenda, ensuring timely completion. Develop training modules and update materials, manuals, SOPs, playbooks, checklists, and visual aids aligned with international logistics practices. Manage training programs to meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with global trade and customs regulations. Stay updated on global trade policies and incorporate them into training content. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to address skill gaps and improve training efficiency. Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for training improvement. Evaluate trainees through assessments and feedback processes. Conduct workshops and hands-on training on supply chain optimization, transportation, and inventory management. Provide guidance on risk management and regulatory compliance in logistics operations. Ensure logistical requirements are met before training sessions to facilitate smooth implementation. Prepare training reports and track effectiveness, noting challenges if any. Qualifications & Experience: 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management in a global environment. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Excellent knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures, including global import/export legislative requirements. Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Ariba, etc.) and Google Office Suite. Strong skills in creating training documentation such as playbooks, SOPs, presentations, and reviews. Good presentation and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with fast-paced, global supply chain operations. Ability to collaborate with international teams and vendors. Willingness to adapt to different time zones and cultural practices. Willing to travel for training or project activities.
