Job Description
Job type: Full-time employee Assist in organizing the pharmacy, controlling medications, and distributing them across sectors. Store materials and medications properly following the First Expiry First Out (FEFO) methodology, ensuring products with the closest expiration date are used first; Attend to medical prescriptions from various sectors, including internal and emergency care; Supply inpatient sectors with necessary materials for nursing procedures and organize materials according to requesting sectors to facilitate delivery; Assist in stock control and usage accounting of items used by patients; Receive, verify, record in the company's system, and store product returns; Store materials and medications in designated drawers in medication carts according to bed assignments; Prepare medications in divided doses, including unit-dose division and labeling according to established standards; Protocol, separate, verify, and deliver medical materials requested via internal requisition or computer system, following established routines; Verify medications and materials during surgical kit assembly, ensuring integrity and proper composition to guarantee quality usage; Participate in stock inventories, performing counts according to inventory policies; Conduct weekly counts of materials and medications as per established standards; Perform other related activities as directed by supervisors.
