The position requires 80% travel to power plant sites internationally. You will attend site meetings with customers to review scope, advance, and unit start-up schedules and issues. How You’ll Make An Impact Act as the primary contact for customer maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of large gas turbines. Possess in-depth knowledge of combustion theory and dynamics in Siemens Energy large gas turbines. Perform combustion tuning and countermeasures on Siemens SGT6-5000F, SGT6-6000G, and SGT6-8000H turbines. Collaborate with the Siemens Energy project team on service projects, start-up commissioning, and troubleshooting. Prepare detailed reports on equipment condition, repairs, and recommendations. Lead and supervise I&C technicians, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy procedures and EHS/Quality standards. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience in field service commissioning and combustion tuning of large gas turbines. Expertise in troubleshooting, combustion tuning, and commissioning of gas turbines. Strong teamwork, results-oriented, and skilled in risk management and adaptability. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn other software as needed. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% and fluent in English (verbal and written).
