Job Description

Introduction A leading South African manufacturer and marketer of Traditional Sorghum Beer and alcoholic beverages are looking for a Logistics and Depot Controller to join their successful team. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee intake shift operation. Responsible for malt and grain stock movement. Control and monitor sorghum grain movement from the farmers to inland Silos to Isithebe Silos. Oversee packaging, grain, and malt inventory. Monitor malt milling and daily packaging. Dispatch monitors brewery malt stock. Organize transport for grain and malt. Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications Grade 12 Knowledge of the SAP system is a must. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience At least 2 – 3 years of work experience in a FMCG environment Working knowledge of manufacturing and commercial systems Skills and competencies High integrity Effective judgment and demonstrated ability to take initiative when required Pro-active problem-solving approach Strong self-discipline Systematic, hands-on, and innovative approaches to all facets of the position Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills Be a self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision Great analytical skills. Time management and working effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedules and producing accurate results.
