About This Opportunity As a Software Engineer IV, you will work on InComm's FSS, TMS & Finspect Team. Your focus will be on enhancing the FSS platform, updating and redesigning applications with cutting-edge technologies to optimize performance and develop the next-generation fraud detection solution. Our applications are responsible for fraud detection in gift card activation and financial card redemption transactions at InComm for our global partners. This position is a REMOTE CLT position in Brazil. Responsibilities Support the evolution and modernization of existing applications and the design and delivery of new cloud-based applications in an agile environment. Implement complex prototypes and core base code for developers to follow. Analyze Machine Learning models and provide recommendations. Create and present design solutions with system-wide impact. Design, develop, deploy, configure, document, and debug enterprise systems, escalating issues as needed to meet deadlines. Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring code reuse. Lead small teams when necessary. Coordinate with QA for end-to-end and post-production testing. Maintain a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming/Design principles. Follow software development best practices. Understand and work with open-source application frameworks. Communicate effectively with clients in both business and technical contexts. Utilize problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions. Assess complex situations quickly with strong analytical skills. Adapt in a dynamic environment, making and communicating technical and team decisions responsibly. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 7 years of experience with Java (1.8 and above), including J2EE in scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant environments. Experience developing Restful Microservices using Spring Boot. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD, and Snyk. Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, ReactJS, PrimeFaces, etc., is a plus. Proficiency in MS SQL Server queries and stored procedures. Experience with project lifecycle management tools like git, Maven, JIRA. Experience with Azure cloud. Experience with SQL Sentry, Dynatrace, and Splunk. Experience with open-source ORM tools. Experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix platforms. Experience with cloud platforms, CMS, Jenkins pipelines, and Docker. Ability to collaborate with QA in testing and writing test cases, and experience with messaging queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ. Experience writing extensive unit tests with automated TDD. Experience creating CI/CD scripts. Strong SQL query skills. Familiarity with SPLUNK for log analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
