Responsibilities This role will primarily focus on ServiceNow automation and will require the ability to design and build automated processes by working closely with various teams within the IT organization Support the design and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and comply with IT service management best practices Identify opportunities to leverage automation to improve efficiency and reliability of ServiceNow solutions Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and industry best practices Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions Develop comprehensive configuration designs, use cases, test conditions to support the successful implementation of initiatives and processes Manage and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow Create and publish supporting documentation for all systems designed and implemented Ability to work independently as well as with team members to accomplish assigned tasks Ability to provide clear status updates and perform peer to peer code reviews Participate in on call rotations which require availability during off hours and holidays Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer or architect Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its modules Ability to understand complex technical and functional designs along with the ability to create and modify workflows Very strong JavaScript and JSON skills required specifically, when it comes to outbound and inbound integration calls that handle data being passed back and forth between systems Clear understanding of how REST interfaces work as it relates to Service Now communications with other tools and services Working knowledge of common REST-related programming patterns (such as expiring API keys, token-based authentication, expiry, and renewal) using swagger-based documentation, queue-based processing, asynchronous programming, etc. Ability to define endpoints, configure authentication, configure access control lists (ACLs), perform variable substitution, etc. within ServiceNow Working knowledge of how Service Now handles requests and responses when using various HTTP methods (GET versus PUT versus PATCH versus DELETE), HTTP status codes, authentication, payloads, etc. Ability to utilize common Microsoft applications to generate data flow diagrams and system design documents Working knowledge of the general ServiceNow’s REST integration API and Glide API scripting system Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and good web design practices Strong working knowledge of SQL and how it interacts with Service Now Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think a lgorithmically Excellent communication and interpersonal skills InComm provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law. *This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program-Tier 4 J-18808-Ljbffr
