About the Role : The Security Coordinator reports to both the Country Security Manager and the local HR Manager. This role involves developing and implementing local security strategies related to People and Assets & Goods in coordination with Group Security. The Security Coordinator enforces and enhances the Ferrero Security Management System at the local level, focusing on risk mitigation and cost-effective protection of Ferrero's people, physical assets, key processes, and proprietary information. Responsibilities include overseeing Local Security Intelligence, Physical Security, Logistical Security, Executive Protection, Travel Security, Incident Management, Fraud Investigation, Due Diligence, Security Training, and Threat and Risk Assessments across production facilities, offices, warehouses, and all local business operations, in coordination with Group Security. The role also involves promoting best practices and continuous improvement within the security community in the area. Planning, developing, and implementing local security plans and programs such as Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management, and Investigations, aligned with Group security guidelines. Collaborating effectively with Group Security, local management, and other relevant functions to address security issues promptly. Leading internal investigations related to violations of law, breaches of ethics, theft, fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, embezzlement, and unauthorized disclosures of proprietary information. Conducting periodic security assessments and deploying measures to mitigate identified risks. Performing annual risk analyses considering crime levels, terrorism, workplace violence, natural and man-made disasters. Providing leadership, advice, and counsel to local management on security policies, practices, and resource expenditures to protect assets. Establishing and maintaining communication channels with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and key security organizations locally and internationally. Managing and supervising security services at production sites, drafting, and implementing security procedures in line with Ferrero policies. Who we are looking for : The ideal candidate will be an experienced security management professional, committed to fostering a culture based on Group values, diversity, inclusion, and continuous development. They must be a self-starter capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. REQUIRED : High school diploma required; degree preferred. Relevant experience in workplace security. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to identify issues and develop solutions. Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
