Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

About the Opportunity: • Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician • Pay Rate Range: $24-31/Hour • Location: Rogers, MN • Schedule: 3rd Shift Mon-Fri 11PM-7AM with optional O/T. • Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: High School diploma with 1 year experience. Strong understanding of the manufacturing process Electrical experience Troubleshooting skills A good understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to lift 50lbs Standing for long durations of time Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls. Troubleshooting problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase. Removing and replacing defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools. Communicating effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs. Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed. Keeping company tools put away and in working order. Fabricating repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. Using shop equipment. (Welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.) Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
