Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and motivated Geography Teacher to join the school from September 2025 on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis. This is a part-time teaching role , ideal for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher eager to contribute to a dynamic Humanities department and make a lasting impact on students understanding of the world. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with departmental and school policies Foster a classroom culture that supports curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams and coursework where applicable Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and innovation Promote and uphold the school's ethos, with sensitivity to its religious values Candidate Requirements Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A relevant degree in Geography or related subject Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the discipline Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare Desirable: Experience teaching in a faith-based or single-gender school Familiarity with recent curriculum developments in Geography Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work with SAAF Education?
