CLASS 1 DRIVER

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic team in Teesport. This role involves transporting goods across the UK, ensuring safe, timely deliveries, and maintaining high professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role and hold a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) license. Key Responsibilities: Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently. Transport goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are on time. Complete vehicle checks before departure to ensure it is roadworthy. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and other necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and company policies. Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to clients. Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations. Ensure all goods are handled and delivered in line with safety and quality standards. Skills & Experience Required: Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) driving license. Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management and route planning skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
