Crop Manager / Agronomist

I'm currently recruiting a Crop Manager / Agronomist for a leading horticultural company based in Laval, with over one million square feet of greenhouse facilities and strong growth ambitions.Your Role* Oversee and manage all stages of crop production, from planting to shipping.* Propose and implement new growing strategies to maximize off-season greenhouse utilization.* Supervise team leads and ensure optimal use of human and material resources.* Maintain high production standards while minimizing losses and controlling costs.* Participate in the selection of key inputs (seeds, plants, fertilizers, crop protection products).* Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient planning and execution.* Plan and supervise greenhouse maintenance operations.Your Profile* Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.* Proven experience in greenhouse crop production, especially ornamental crops.* Natural leadership and strong organizational and team management skills.* Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability and operational rigor.* Fluent in French and Spanish (essential for communication with foreign seasonal workers).* Member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec (OAQ), an asset.Working Conditions* Permanent, full-time position based in Laval* Immediate start available* Competitive salary based on profile and experience* Dynamic, people-first workplace in a growing family business* Strategic role with strong autonomy* Genuine opportunities for career development
